L.I To learn how to make Mapo pork and eggplant.

This week for tech the year 7's made Mapo pork and eggplant, The Mapo pork and eggplant was really tasty as I could taste the beef mixed into the rice. I really loved cutting the onion into pieces and put it into the pan. I also loved mixing the beef into the onion.

LI: To make pizza.


Today at food tech we followed the recipe to make a beef and BBQ pizza with Mrs Heka. First we got our measuring cups  and measuring spoon's after that we got 4 tablespoon's of souse and our rap for the base. Then we got our cheese after that we we got our souse and added it onto the rap then we got our mince and made it into balls then we added our  cheese on to the pizza. After that we gave it to Mrs Heka and told her our number which was 4 then we pact up for the day and got our bowls and added our pizza onto the bowls it was fun and delicious.


 

Food Technology Sagwala dish

LI: To listen to the instruction to make a Sagwala dish

Today for food technology we made a Sagwala dish first we got our medium bowl out and added the curry powder into the bowl then we gave our medium bowl to Miss Heka to get the rice. After that we got our measuring cups and measuring spoons. Then we put our tomato into one of the measuring cup and the other measuring cups were use  to add our yogurt then we added all of our ingredients. It was amazing and fun.

L.I To make veggie noodles.

Today for food technology we made veggie noodles first we got our veggies and noodles then we got our big pot and added water into the big pot and then Mrs Tuipulotu came and lit the oven. After that we added our noodles into the hot pot and stir it then we got our vege’s.  Then  we diced  the veggies. Then we got our big pan and added 2 tablespoon of oil into the big pan. After we tern of the oven andand we drain the noodles, Mrs Tuipulotu came and turned on the oven, then we added our vege  into the big pan with the oil. At the end we added our sours into our noodle with the vegetate we got our bowl and it was Delicious The hardest part for us is to cut the onion and the galic.The onion  made our eyes sore that we cried.

 Today for Tech we did food technology with Mrs Heka. We made a curry rice salad, first we got our bowls, measuring cups and measuring spoons. Then we got our ingredients it was 1 tablespoon of curry powder, 2 tablespoons of corn bits and 1 tablespoon of beans. After that we got our bowl of vegetables and then we cut our onion,red cabbage and grated our carrot. Then we put our onion in a big pot then we got our oil and added it to the pot with the onion. Then we got our cooked rice and mashed it then Mrs Heka came and started the stove for use to cook the curry. After that we added our chicken into the pot with the oil and the onion then we waited for the chicken to turn  white then we added the rice and misk the rice and chicken together and then we added the curry powder with the chicken and rice till it turns yellow and that's when we added the beans and the corn bits it was fun to make.

Food technology | Hot cakes

LI:To follow a recipe to make hot cakes.

Today for food technology we followed Mrs Heka's instructions and made hot cakes. First we got our eggs and milk then we put it all together and maid a yellow liquid. The second thing we did was to get our flower and sugar then we added it together. Then we added the eggs and milk with the flower and sugar to make the pancake batter then we go our  blueberry and added 4 tablespoons  of water. After that we got our pan and a pot then we added our pancake batter to onto our pan and added our blueberry's to our pan. At the end we added ice cream to our pancakes and then added our blueberry's on top of our ice cream it was a lot of fun it was my first time making pancakes and i was happy that it tern'd out good.

LI: To learn knife skills.

Today for Tech we had food technology with Mrs Heka. We made a colorful fruit salad to help us learn knife skills. We used yellow and green kiwi fruit, grapes, orange and a layer of yoghurt. First we removed the skin from the fruit then we diced the fruit. Then we got some cups and put the fruit in the cups, then we poured some yogurt over the fruit and made layers. It was fun and delicious.
